In my retelling of Sleeping Beauty, Sleeping Beau, my heroine, Catherine, did something reckless. Outrageous. Something forbidden for any proper lady to do. One night she stole into the room of a handsome stranger – only after she’d tainted his wine with an aphrodisiac – and ultimately surrendered her innocence to him.
